Surprisingly rich flavor and aroma.  Greek Oregano is considered to be the most flavorful in the world. It has an excellent reputation for flavor and aroma. Good-Quality Herb can be strong enough. It may feel as it numbs the tongue, but cultivars adapted to colder climates often have a lesser flavor. Factors such as climate, season, and soil composition may affect the aromatic oils present, and this effect may be greater than the differences between the various species of plants. The ideal climatic condition of Greece that combines high altitude, the sunshine, sea breeze, and the subsoil rich in trace elements makes the Greek Oregano the Best in the World.
