Carvacrol is the main ingredient in Oregano. The higher the carvacrol content in the Oil, the better it is. If the Essential Oil is low in Carvacrol, then it will not be as potent regardless of the dosage used.

Thymol: Another ingredient found in the Oregano. It must be at very low rates because thymol is toxic in high concentrations.
